I am a graduate of Duquesne University with a Master's Degree in Counseling. I am also a (LPC) Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Pennsylvania. I have achieved many awards and certifications throughout my career and taught at the University of Pittsburgh as an Adjunct Professor in the School of Social Work.

I have over 25 years experience counseling individuals with mental health and substance abuse diagnosis specializing with those who struggle with dual diagnosis. I also have over 30 years personal experience with addiction and recovery. I am a good listener and have empathy and compassion for others. I will help you break through to find your inner confidence, believe in yourself, and improve the quality of your life.
Counseling Approach
I use an integrated approach to counseling based on the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Humanistic Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy treatment models.
I believe therapy should be a safe place where one can explore their emotions, thoughts, and behaviors and make changes in areas to improve the quality of their lives.
